"The food was good. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The queso and the chili were excellent! The chicken fried steak was really good. My only regret is not trying the hickory burger. Definitely would eat here again."

"First time eating here. And it was wise choice. Met a couple at the entrance that said they eat here Every Sunday! Once inside it was apparent why. Every one was so happy and conversing at each table. As the orders arrived all around us , you could see the pleasure and anticipation on their faces. We saw several dishes that made it easy to make our menu selections. Our waitress guided us to spectacular choices. Started with chips and hot sauce. 7 layer dip appetizer was mouthwatering Veggie Quesadillas as main course Chicken Quesadillas too. Chicken Fried Steak with French fries and a side salad was exceptional. One anomaly is they don't have mashed potatoes!!! Weird They do offer a baked potato. Our waitress was so caring, knowledgeable, and talented. The atmosphere and vibe is everything you could hope for in a restaurant like this. One guy next to us eats here several times a week. Next visit will include one of their famous club sandwiches and a classic burger. It's located just off Highway 75 on Texoma Parkway I recommend you add this to your Must Try Soon list I guarantee you will love it and return quickly See you there!"

"Wonderful food, me and my husband went to eat on a Friday night. I had the Chicken Fried Steak and with the most delicious gravy. The atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. "We traveled up to Sherman Texas yesterday for another live auction and chose to try a local favorite called City Limits. They do have patio seating so Buddy joined us too. Taylor and I both picked the Fish And Chips with fresh cut fries and house made tartar sauce. Huge pieces of fish, steaming hot and absolutely delicious. Very crowded during the noon day rush but it looks like they were well staffed and getting customers fed quickly. We will eat here again "

"5 stars across the board!!! I love this place. Food fresh and delicious. This place is packed ALL the time (That should tell you all you need to know ) If you don't mind waiting about 30 mins for them to make your fresh food and maybe waiting for a table, then give this place a try, it will be your new fav!"

"First time here, and it was definitely the right choice! We tried the chicken fried steak sandwich, and it was incredible -- crispy, flavorful, and perfect with a side of gravy drizzled over the top. The hand-cut fries were the kind you don't want to cover with chili or cheese -- just enjoy them as they are, because they're that good. The fried zucchini was a really unique and delicious surprise, fried just right and awesome with ranch. We've eaten a lot of places around Texas, and this one truly stands out -- a hidden gem that nails classic comfort food done right. We'll definitely be back!"

"A friend of my who grew up in this area of North Texas suggested City Limits if I wanted a good burger...since most of my reviews are about burgers I have it a try and was glad I did. I arrived just before 2:00 on a Saturday and there was quite the lunch crowd. Since I was by myself, I opted to sit at the bar but the folks ahead of me in line were promptly seated within a few minutes and a group of six came in shortly after that and were seated fairly quickly. I ordered a bacon burger with no cheese and fries. They did not offer Sweet Tea which I think should be a staple for any casual restaurant in Texas so I opted for the next best thing, a Dr Pepper. Had I felt like drinking something with a little more bite, they Ajax a pretty good selection of drinks from the bar. My burger came out in a reasonable time. While waiting, I couldn't help but notice how many of the patrons were regulars and how personable the waitresses and other staff were with each visitor. Very friendly place!! My burger was well seasoned and just right! Lettuce, tomato, pickle, onions and mustard came standard. Fries were thick cut seasoned fries. Very good! The ladies at the bar were very attentive, to me and made sure I had plenty of refills while taking care of lots of drink orders. The only negative was the bar stools were a little short for the bar. It made it a little awkward picking up a burger and taking a bite and I am pretty tall. The guy next to me ordered a beer and spilled it for the same reason. Just slightly awkward. I would recommend City Limits to anyone in the area or passing through!! Next time, I think I will try their chicken strips, they looked mouth wateringly good!"
